Baseball, the great American pastime, is something every man an woman can relate to. However, we must remember those who have ensured our freedoms, which have allowed this sport to be a part of our past, remain a part of our present, and continue to be a part of our future.

 

Those attending the Legends Camp will not only be playing alongside their heroes from baseballs past, but will also be supporting our country's heroes, as Hire Heroes USA (HHUSA) has once again been designated as the beneficiary of the 2010 St. Louis Cardinals Legends Camp.

 

HHUSA, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit program, is the link to career opportunities nationwide for returning service men and women – our heroes – to ensure they have the opportunity to enjoy the freedoms they fought to preserve. Providing job readiness resources and career placement assistance, the Hire Heroes USA program assists our returning veterans, including those wounded or disabled, as they seek to establish new civilian careers upon completion of their military service. A personal approach facilitates matching of the career interests, qualifications and transferable skills of veterans with the needs of hiring companies partnering with HHUSA to fill job openings.

 

HHUSA wholeheartedly understands the importance of creating opportunities for those who have asked so little but selflessly given so much. The services provided are done at no cost to veterans or participating companies. The career placement services offered by HHUSA are possible only with the continued and generous contributions of supporters such as you.
